Content Removal Policy

If content on LunaCat involves you, breaks our rules, or is unlawful, you can ask us to remove it. This page explains how, and what to expect.

What you can ask us to remove

You can request removal of content that, for example:

  • depicts you, or appears to depict you, without your consent;
  • contains your personal or identifying information, or private images;
  • you believe involves a minor or is otherwise unlawful (we treat this as urgent — see our Underage Policy);
  • breaches our Prohibited Content Policy.

For copyright or trademark complaints, please use our Copyright / DMCA Policy instead.

How to submit a request

Email [email protected] with the subject line “Content Removal” and include:

  • a link to, or clear description of, the content;
  • why it should be removed (for example that it depicts you without consent, or breaks a specific rule);
  • your relationship to the content (for example that you are the person depicted, or their authorised representative);
  • a way to contact you and, where relevant, proof of identity.

You do not need to be a LunaCat user to submit a request. Please only include information that is necessary; we handle your report under our Privacy Policy.

What we do

We acknowledge valid requests and review them promptly. Content we reasonably believe is unlawful or involves a minor is removed urgently and, where required, reported to the authorities. For other requests we aim to respond without undue delay, and we will tell you the outcome. We may keep a record of the request and the removed material where the law requires or to prevent re-upload.

Abuse of this process

Please submit requests in good faith. Knowingly false or abusive removal requests may be rejected and, where appropriate, reported.
