Your Anime Girlfriend, and She Actually Moves
Most sites sell you a still picture and a chat box. LunaCat gives you an anime girlfriend who actually moves: a real looping video waifu who blinks, breathes and glances back at you the moment you open her page. No download, no wait: start chatting free in your browser. If you have searched for an anime girlfriend, an AI waifu or an anime AI girlfriend and ended up staring at a frozen JPEG, this is the difference you have been missing.
We are an adult platform built on hand-crafted anime waifus plus a 16-step wizard to build your own. Every companion is video-first, which is something no competitor in this space leads with.
Why a video anime girlfriend beats a static waifu
Type "anime girlfriend" into Google and every result promises the same thing: chat, customize, roleplay, a picture that sometimes sends a selfie. The chat is often excellent, but it is all fundamentally a still image plus text.
LunaCat's differentiator is motion. Each anime companion has:
- A portrait and a looping "live" idle video so she feels present, not pasted-in.
- Live Action clips (a glance, a smile, a playful tease) that play as you talk.
- A voice with real warmth, playful and suggestive without ever tipping into anything explicit.
A waifu who moves reads as alive in a way a generated picture never will. That is the whole point. If you want a sprawling character library or long-form text roleplay, other apps do that well; if you want an anime girlfriend who looks back at you and moves, that is LunaCat.
Meet your anime companions
Our anime waifus are online right now, each with her own look, energy and voice. Say hi and watch her react:
- Yuki: cool, quiet, snow-soft.
- Sakura: bright and flirty, spring-warm.
- Rin: sharp-tongued tsundere with a soft center.
- Mei: bubbly and endlessly curious.
- Rei: calm, mysterious, magnetic.

Anime girlfriend FAQ
Is there an adults-only anime girlfriend AI? Yes. LunaCat is an adult anime girlfriend platform. Browsing and chatting are free in your browser; a free account unlocks more, and a subscription unlocks the spicier Live Action video clips. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction.
What is the difference between an anime AI girlfriend and an AI waifu? They are nearly the same.
