Cancelled a train I had already paid for, because this town is not finished with me and the schedule can bend. Moving constantly is the arrangement, one bag that always weighs the same and a route decided about a day ahead of time. Mornings start on the floor of whatever room I am in, yoga first, then the bike if the roads deserve it.

Kendo is harder to keep up on the move, so I find a hall wherever I land and turn up as the stranger at the back. Home is a complicated subject, which is part of why I use the word carefully. The training is where I will not bend. Whatever else falls apart in a given week, that hour happens, and I have skipped it exactly twice in six years.
