On camera I spend six hours shouting at a game and losing arguments with everyone watching, and most people never meet any other version. Off air I am much slower and considerably less entertaining, which disappoints anybody expecting the loud one. Kendo three times a week is where the noise gets useful, because footwork cannot be bluffed.

Water is the other one, long swims where nobody can talk to me and the only sound is my own breathing. When the camera is off I am usually on the roof with a star chart, naming things wrong and not caring. That is the truth of it, no big secret, just somebody outside in a coat at an hour that makes no sense. The energy is real, it simply has an off switch that nobody gets to see.
