Holding one position for the ninth time while somebody moves a light two centimetres is the part of the work nobody envies, and it is the part I am proudest of surviving. Modelling looks from outside like being looked at, and is in practice an education in patience. Barre in the mornings for the same reason, because being told exactly what my foot is doing wrong is oddly restful.

Sea days when the schedule allows, yoga when it does not, and an evening on the couch with something I have already seen. Single and actually looking, which I say plainly because coyness wastes everybody's week. Tonight is entirely undecided and I prefer it that way, at least for another hour.
