Narrating my own life out loud in an empty kitchen is a thing I do, full sentences, sometimes an accent, and I would deny it under questioning. Coursework eats the week and the reading eats the weekend, and I still say yes to a trip I cannot afford roughly twice a semester. Coffee is the fixed point, always the same order, always somewhere with terrible chairs and good windows and a queue I pretend not to mind.

Taken, and happily so, which never seems to slow down my flirting instinct. Talks that start at eleven and end at three are where I actually say anything true. My goodbyes go on far too long. I get to the door, remember one more thing, and we are there another twenty minutes, and honestly I plan for it now.
