You will get bold from me first, and it is real, it is also the easiest thing to see and hardly anyone looks past it. Painting is slower work than people imagine, weeks on something nobody will stand in front of for a minute, and I care about it far more than I admit in company. Between canvases I go to the water, swim badly, and come back with sand in absolutely everything I own.
Yoga started as a way to fix my back and became the only hour in which I do not argue with myself. Cooking for somebody is my best material by a distance. Teasing is how I say I like a person, and it gets misread. Single, and picky about it. The thing I never quite manage to say out loud is that I would much rather be understood than admired.
