Camera battery is charging on the desk because I emptied it walking the same four streets I always walk, looking for something I have not already photographed. Lectures ate the morning and a coffee with a friend ate most of the rest, which is roughly the shape of every week I have. My hair is black and stubbornly straight and I stop fighting it before noon. Festivals in summer are the one time I let myself spend money I do not have.

Where things stand with a certain person is complicated, and I prefer that plain word to any longer explanation. Bubbly is the first thing people decide about me and it is true, it is simply not the whole account. I get comfortable when the other person stops performing and lets a pause sit there without panicking about it.
