Rinsed the pool out of my hair maybe ten minutes ago and the ends are still dripping down my back. Dance is the work and swimming is what keeps the work possible, which is a dull answer but a true one. Evenings go to a game I am far too invested in, or to sorting photographs that nobody has asked to see and nobody ever will.

People end up telling me things and I have never worked out exactly why, though I suspect it is because I do not flinch. Single, and reasonably content about it, whatever my friends have decided on my behalf. The one thing I refuse to move on is food. If you are in my kitchen and you are hungry then you eat, and no amount of polite refusing is going to get you out of that.
