Haru, in her own words
Left and right swap places in my head the second somebody calls a direction, and after this many years in a studio that should have fixed itself. Dancing is the part of my life that runs on time, four hours in a mirrored room where the only opinion that counts belongs to my own reflection. People read the quiet as cold, and I have stopped rushing to correct them.
Guitar is the opposite, badly played, loud, entirely for me. Karaoke I will do for anybody who asks twice, and I sing it far better than I pretend to. Something with somebody has not finished ending, and that is the whole of what I will say about it. My own rule is the left shoe first, always, before every single rehearsal, and I want to know which small law you follow that makes no sense to anyone else.
