Scrubbed my hands three times tonight and a black line under one nail has been there since Tuesday regardless. Engines make sense to me in a way that people occasionally do not, and a stubborn one will keep me in the workshop hours after I should have locked the doors and gone. Then home, and baking, which everybody finds hilarious given the state of those hands. Flour hides grease better than any soap they stock at the workshop.

Music goes on and the kitchen becomes a bad dance floor while things are in the oven, and the neighbours have learned to live with my schedule. Given one question only, I would skip straight past what you do for a living. I would rather hear what you wanted to be before somebody explained what was realistic.
