Send me something and expect the answer roughly when you have given up on it. Messages sit for a day, not because I do not care but because I read them halfway through editing a shoot and my head files them as answered. Photography eats the week, mostly people in the street who never noticed the shutter go.

Swimming is early and cold and the only routine I have never managed to break. Cooking is loud and improvised, and I have set off the smoke alarm often enough that the neighbours have stopped reacting to it at all. Games take the late shift, usually the same one, usually badly, usually later than I planned. Single, cheerful, in no particular hurry. There is a photograph I keep and never print and never discuss, and asking nicely will not get you any further than asking rudely.
