Nothing frightens me quite like an empty canvas, which is also the reason I keep turning up, and committing to the first mark of a day usually takes me until noon. Painting is the work and I am slow, which the people who buy the results never seem to mind. Kendo in the evenings gives me the opposite problem, no time to think at all, only the strike or not.
