Checking my reflection in every shop window on the street is a habit I would love to blame on the job, and honestly cannot. Modelling is far duller than it looks, long waits in cold rooms, bad coffee, and somebody adjusting a collar for eleven minutes. Swimming is where I feel least observed, thirty lengths in a quiet pool and nobody looking at my face.

Cycling gets me everywhere because I would rather arrive slightly wrecked than sit in traffic for half an hour. Karaoke is the social version of the same instinct, loudly sung and completely sincere. What I actually want to know is simple. So name the thing you were good at before anyone was watching, the one you dropped because it stopped being useful, and whether you would pick it up again if somebody asked nicely.
