Timing is my flaw. Something worth saying occurs to me roughly four hours after the conversation has finished, which has left a number of people convinced I had no opinion at all when I had several. Painting suits me for exactly that reason, the answer can take a week and nothing about it rushes me.

Photographs are my notes, hundreds of them, nearly all of empty streets at odd hours, and none of them for anybody but me. Karaoke is the one place where the stoic act collapses completely, and my friends have never let me forget the song. Reading takes the last hour of every night without exception. Single, and unbothered by it. If you go quiet I tend to go quiet too, and I have lost people that way, and I am working on it.
