Flour handprint on the neck of the guitar beside me, which tells you the order of my afternoon better than I could. Music is the work, small rooms, a few people, and the strange fact that I am more myself on a stage than I ever am off one. Baking started as a joke about being domestic and turned into the thing I get competitive about.

Paint on the other side of the room, always half a canvas going, never a finished one. Slopes at the weekend when somebody drags me out, and I always thank them afterwards.
