Somebody could take the editing off my hands tomorrow and I would not ask what it cost, hours of it, one raw file at a time, coffee going cold. The shooting itself I love without reservation, especially festivals, where nobody is posing and the light is doing whatever it wants. Give me a crowd at the front barrier over a studio any day of the week.

Shopping is a weakness I refuse to be lectured about, and my wardrobe is basically a second archive. Conversations that actually matter happen somewhere after one in the morning, never over dinner with music playing. No partner at the moment and no games about wanting one, I say it straight. Tonight it is a small venue across town, three lenses in the bag, and whoever wants to come along and be photographed badly.
